Three interventions have been made.
Led light, photovoltaic plant, biomass engines.
The company works 24 hours a day, so the artificial light is necessary to provide the less brightness expected in the working phases. Any working take place in the plastic and wood department especcially. However the industrial shed is equipped with skylight on the roof and that allows to use the natural light, particularly during summer time. Infact in summer the artificial lighting is activated for 10 hours a day. Contrary, in winter the natural light that filters thought the skylight cannot guarantee the proper light level and it is necessary to use the artifical light 24 hours a day. In the others departments the artifical light use is casual.
The implant constisted of 28 lighting fixtures of 400 W, 35 of 2×58 W, 30 Neon of 58 W.
The electric Energy use is for the whole year’s illumination, considering 15 hours a day, was of 93.075 kWh.
The new configuration has been realised using LED lamps, precisely:
- 28 LED lighting fixtures of 160 W;
- 35 LED lighting fixtures 2×19 W;
- 30 LED of 25 W
The current electric use iso f 35.916 kWh with a save of 57.159 kWh, equal to the 61%.
The intervention permitted a failure to issue CO2, egual to 37,15 tonnes of CO2 a year.
The company has realised two photovoltaic plants of 400,95 kWp total power: -on the middle shed; – on the new covering with installations integrated architecturally. The material used is polysilicon . the photovoltaic plant covers the whole shed surface, that hosts the production of plastic and cardboard packaging, and also the two flaps exposed in the south of the shed, hosting the production of wood packaging. The installation is made up of 1701 Aleo solar panels (polysilicon pannels of three types: 230w, 235w and 240w) and of 36 Inverter Sma (of 11kW each). The installation works since 03/14/2011.
Total Energy actually produced: 561330 Kmh.
The intervention permitted a failure to issue CO2, egual to 365,51 tonnes a year.
The biomass plant is made up of two container with two Cummins (Model: QSK23-G3) engines that allows to have an installed electric power of 900 kWh and a thermal input of 1857 kWht.
Installation’s global performance 48,4%.
Considering an operational period of 8000 hours a year, we have a thermal Energy producion of 6.400.000 kWh/year and 7.500.000 kWh/anno of electric Energy.
The intervention permits a failure to issue CO2, egual to 4.875 tonnes a year.
